Stock for a stock holder provides individuals to be considered partial owners. It also provides the owner of the stock to increase or decrease its value based on its demand in the market. If the demand goes up usually the stock price will also climb and the price of the owned stock and the opposite is true when the demand goes down. The organization itself loses its voting privileges (or will only count towards a percentage of the voting rights) based on ownership of the organization (depending on the type of issued stock). There are a few advantages for a company to provide stock. One reason is that they are able to have an increase of funds through the selling of stock. The funds are usually available for any sort of reason that the company requires. Stock providing organizations also can provide better compensation plans to employees to ensure competitiveness.
