Investing
Many investors can go different ways when looking for investment knowledge or help. Your concern as an investor to the the most up to date and developed information possible. If at all, you want to also know the history of your investment and if there has been foul play previously. I was looking at some information from wikinvest.com and found some great information about Nike (NKE). The article definitely gave me a better view of Nike and how it has been doing in the investing world (which surprisingly can be different from the purchasing world). Some information that I did not know about the organization really helped me set a standard for how it should produce in the future. Notably, the article stated that Nike had revenue totaling 16 billion in 2007. About 10 percent of the revenue or .16 billion will go towards investments. Finally, it states that Nike is looking to clamor into the casual sneaker market where it has been exclusive for some time. Nike’s specific markets include the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It looks like they even own Converse and Cole Haan which I did not know. China has been a huge market influx for Nike’s over the year and recently has a spike in foreign market shoes such as Nike’s. The wiki provided excellent information that I could use as an investor to make a decision on investing into certain companies or even different markets.
