Redundant Data

In business, I believe there are a few types of data that may be used in current business system development.  Overall, any organization can encounter any data validation problems.  Redundant data can be handled by taking necessary preemptive steps to ensure that data that is written is used in the program.  Keeping track of all of the variables in the program ensures that data that is not necessary is removed per certain C++ methods.  Lost data can be solved by using various specific verifiable methods and error checking.  The developer can make sure that the input and output of specific methods in forks are not lost by using certain print methods and validation techniques.  By using similar steps in redundant data checking, one can look at missing data the same way.  The missing data can be verified by certain print functions to test variables and a solid run through the code by physical means may be necessary.  Inconsistent data can be alleviated by first looking at all the outputs of the variables and calculations and making sure that the data is correctly formatted.  Also, a quick check of existing variables can also help alleviate issues of inconsistency by taking a proactive approach to programming.  Misdirected data can be fixed by first looking at all of the formulas and solutions to make sure necessary steps are taken to validate information.  Also, it is wise for the programmer to make sure certain aspects of the program are correctly tested for any lingering issues.  It is smart to look for insufficient data that may arise.  Walking down the program can help alleviate insufficient data.  Insufficient data can cause many errors so it is wise for the programmer to check all methods prior to launching it into the program.  Validation and printing functions are also necessary elements in alleviating insufficient data.  This should be the norm and minimum of any programmer to develop in any organization.
