I get many questions about what has been changing in management that has developed in the last few years. One of the biggest changes in management is called “transparency” which is essentially the audit-able development of managerial decision making. In that, it originally stemmed from risk management due to its complexity. Recently, the change has been initiated in management because there needs to be a stress in accountability among management. To support this theory, lets say that you as an employee, have information about discretion’s in the workplace. Should you keep quiet or ensure that it can be escalated through management so that it is resolved as quickly as possible. You would want to choose B because your lack of concern is an immediate accountability factor. Therefore, it is imperative to keep accountability and, most importantly, transparency in management.
