Bias #2
I was in training and I think I found another bias that was addressed by another person. It looks like I am also bias against people who say they will complete something and they do not. The biggest issue for me is when someone states that and ends up not completing the assignment, I end up losing a bit of trust from the individual. Moreover, my experience will drastically reduce my chance of trusting that person again. It seems like a two fold issue and I think it stems from my ability to complete something once I start it. I am also anal in that I also like to complete tasks in one sitting. The concern of going away and coming back to it is foreign to me as it was to that person who was in training. I am glad I am getting these out of the way because it will help me become a better manager as I address these to myself and be honest with my understanding of my bias.
