One of my good friends owns a shoe store and was asking me how he could increase foot traffic to his store.  I told him that the location was okay but in order to get foot traffic he would need to provide some specials to the locals.  Unfortunately, its a small mom and pop foot store and many people don’t know its a shoe store.  Primarily, he is unable to compete with the larger stores but I told him the greatness is in numbers.  Buy in bulk and sell cheap.  He needs to setup to sell high quantity and make lower per shoe.  I think he will take my advise and change his update.
