One of my good friends just completed his business plan but he ended up a few thousand over budget.  Let me tell you, if you need to, rewrite and rework your business plan as much as you need to keep your costs down and keep it effective.  The last thing you want to do as a new business owner is create an over inflated business plan that requires you to provide more vested monies and, worse case scenario, lose the business.  And, the reworked business plan will help you in longevity when you are going through the first few years of the tough uphill battle.
