10 Businesses Facing Extinction

MSN has rolled up their odds on the 10 businesses that are most likely to fail in 10 years.  They are (in no particular order):

1.  Record Stores (Walmart now sells cd’s for far cheaper and there is the hugely sucessful itunes)

2.  Camera Film Manuf (makes sense, when was the last time you bought a 35 mm camera?)

3.  Crop Dusters (there are less crops to dust, nuff said!)

4.  Gay Bars (Gay’s can now go into regular bars! yayaya)

5.  NewsPapers (why pay for it to come to your door when you can read it for free online!)

6.  Pay Phones (duh, cell phone rivals)

7.  Used Bookstores (same with newspapers, google has a service that has a database of many books to read for free)

8.  Piggy Banks (worthless.  The new trend, give your child a debit card and go nuts)

9.  Telemarketing (the DNC list has been tying up numbers and it may lead to the end)

10.  Coin-op video games (this one makes sense.  I have been playing video games at home with much better visuals and its overall much more cost effective than the 25 cents per play (now up to a 1$ or more depending on the game, eek!)
